This organization is dedicated to those grandparents and other relative caregivers who are raising their grandchildren, their nieces or nephews either by court order or voluntarily. Millions of ‘‘Kinship caregivers”” around the world are providing primary care for children whose parents cannot or will not care for them due to substance abuse, illness, death, abuse and neglect, economic hardship, incarceration, divorce, domestic violence, and other crises. The organization and it’s resources are intended to help you find the information now available and to become a part of making changes that are so desperately needed to the systems we have all become a part of. We address the lifestyle
changes that we are all in the midst of, raising children well after
we ever thought that we would. We are dealing with pediatricians,
our own health issues, those of our children, daycare, day to day
activities without the benefit of other mothers or grandparents
our own age, schools, behaviors, birthday parties even. Whether
you want day to day ideas to ease the burden of the blessing or
just want to find something to kick back and enjoy we have a feeling
